[matched_content]Let’s make some baked barbecue chicken legs! Honestly, it can be pretty budget-friendly too. I got this whole packet of chicken legs from Aldi for under four dollars.
I start by drizzling them with some olive oil and you want to season these up really good. I honestly use whatever you like. I start with this Kinder’s brown sugar rub. I also threw on a lot of garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper of course, and also some smoked paprika. Then you just want to get in there with your hands, rub that in, make sure it’s all thoroughly coated. If you need to add more, that’s fine.
I bake these at 300 Fahrenheit for about an hour. I want to make these low and slow. At this point, I like to brush both sides with barbecue sauce. Use whatever your favorite is. But that’s kind of over this dish. So, you will see that I changed it to like a cookie sheet with a wire rack. That just helps the heat to get to all sides so it doesn’t get all mushy underneath.
I pop these back in for about another 45 minutes. I wanted some more color so I put it under the broiler. And that’s it! These were really delicious.
