- Add the brown sugar, cayenne pepper, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper to the jar.
- Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously until all ingredients are well combined and the sugar has dissolved.
- Let the sauce rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before using, but ideally refrigerate for 24 hours to allow the flavors to fully meld.
- Shake well before using as the spices may settle.
