- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to help them get crispy in the oven.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. For extra crispiness, place them on a wire rack set over the baking sheet.
- Bake for 45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
- Remove the wings from the oven and brush generously with BBQ sauce, coating all sides.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
- For an extra layer of flavor, brush with additional BBQ sauce just before serving.
