Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes for heat

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, add the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Add the sesame oil, minced garlic, and black pepper to the mixture.
  3. Whisk all ingredients together thoroughly until the brown sugar has completely dissolved.
  4. Place your chicken pieces in a large resealable plastic bag or glass container.
  5. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure all pieces are well coated.
  6. Seal the bag or cover the container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight for best results).
  7. When ready to cook, remove chicken from the marinade and grill until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. For extra flavor, brush additional marinade on the chicken during the first few minutes of grilling.
