- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice wine, honey, black pepper, and grated pear (if using) until sugar dissolves.
- Place thinly sliced beef into the marinade, making sure every piece is well-coated. Add chopped green onions and toss together.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 3-4 hours or overnight.
- Remove beef from refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking to bring to room temperature.
- Heat a large skillet or grill pan over high heat. Add marinated beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked through.
- Transfer to a serving platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and extra green onions. Serve immediately.
