- In a medium saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, gochujang paste, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar completely.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce begins to thicken slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in sesame seeds, green onions, and black pepper.
- Allow the glaze to cool slightly before using. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
