Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup paprika sweet or smoked works great
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper adjust to taste for heat level
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

Method
 

  1. Gather all your spices and measuring tools.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar and white sugar, breaking up any clumps with your fingers.
  3. Add the paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and chili powder to the sugar mixture.
  4. Whisk all ingredients thoroughly until completely combined and no streaks remain.
