  • 4 whole skin-on bone-in chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts, then rub with the spice mixture, ensuring all sides are well-coated.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a baking dish, skin side up.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and brush generously with half of the BBQ sauce, making sure to coat the tops and sides.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.

  10. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
