Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

  1. Combine olive oil, hot sauce, minced garlic, honey, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
  2. Place the shrimp in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them. Toss to coat well, cover, and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to high heat, about 450°F. Clean and oil the grates.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the marinade and thread them onto skewers, spacing them evenly and alternating direction for stability.
  5. Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side, basting with reserved marinade, until pink, opaque, and lightly charred.
  6. Transfer the skewers to a platter, sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro, and serve immediately.
