  • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang paste
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine soy sauce, gochujang paste, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.

  5. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken slightly.
