Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • cup granulated erythritol or preferred keto sweetener
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the yellow mustard, sweetener, apple cider vinegar, butter, and soy sauce. Stir until the butter melts completely.
  2. Add the chili powder, black pepper, white pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. Whisk thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer (avoid boiling), then reduce heat to low.
  4. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. The sauce will thicken slightly as it cooks.
  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.
